On July 22nd, approximately 100 riders and supporters met at the Station Flats parking lot to register and ride to the BK Memorial near Elbow Falls as a fundraiser for the Foothills Diabetes Association but also to reflect on the memory of our former teammate, Brian Kullman.
cp was available to make a short presentation while Felix, Reid, Frank, John, and Chris signed in for the ride. It was a beautiful day, and Brian's brother Kevin and parents should be commended for the excellent work they did to put this event together for the Foothills Diabetes Association.Consequently, there are "Ride for BK" wristbands that were purchased for distribution to the Synergy club. Get yours from cp. It is a really cool black band, but not your standard band. This one has a tread, resembling a knobby tire! Very cool.
